Can't I Just Buy Oils at the Health Food Store or Amazon?

Unfortunately, all essential oils are not created equally. Especially the cheaper ones you can find at the store. Many have been adulterated with synthetic chemicals or will contain cheap essential oils that were produced from crops that use pesticides. Always be sure to check the label. If it say “not for internal use”, or “do not put directly on skin”, stay away. I would challenge you to the smell test. The difference between a store bought peppermint is very different from the smell of Young Living’s Peppermint. Peppermint should not smell like candy – rather it should smell like a fresh cut herb. 
 
As for Amazon, you have to be careful because there are many imposter oils labeled as Young Living which are diluted or even replaced with fake oils. Young Living does NOT sell on Amazon and you can only get them direct from the company or someone like me.
